Does strength beget strength on the open?

Tom's "Navigating the Open" says a big-bodied bar closing near its extreme makes the machines bet on continuation — "buying begets buying". We tested it on 30,000+ opening bars over 17 years. The answer is refreshingly honest: a real effect, but a tiny one — enough to lean on, not to trade.
